Why this New England boy is cheering for the Steelers today

a) Because everything from the New Haven city line down isn't
really New England, anyway.
b) Because Kyra told me to.
c) Because another week of the Steelers staying alive means another week of listening to the great Myron Cope.
The dirty soufeast of Ohio is a confluence of three major NFL groups: Steelers fans (riding high), Browns fans (largely downtrodden), and Bengals (mostly miserable, but looking up nowadays). For some reason we get the Steelers radio network broadcasts here, and a fall afternoon last year introduced me to the glorious insanity that is the presumably unhinged Pittsburgh color commentator. He's apparently a civic treasure of sorts in Pittsburgh, and why not?
Listen, and learn to love Myron here.
